Why this magazine exists
Because most writing about AI is either selling something or warning about something, and very little of it reports what happened when someone actually tried.
What we cover
Five territories: using AI on real work, what it changes for small teams, designing automated chains that fail safely, plain explanations of how the technology works, and the limits and costs that get left off the marketing page. Anything outside those five is not covered here, however newsworthy.
How a piece gets written
A piece starts from a question someone actually has, usually one that shows up in search with bad answers. Where a claim can be tested by using the thing, it is tested, and the article says what was run and on what. Where it cannot, the article says so in the text rather than implying a test that did not happen.
We do not publish numbers we cannot source. That rule removes a lot of the usual furniture: no audience figures, no productivity percentages, no charts of jobs at risk. If a figure appears here, its basis appears with it.
Independence
No vendor pays to appear, to rank higher, or to be excluded. There are no sponsored posts and no affiliate links. When a product is named it is because it was used for the work described.
Corrections
When an article gets something wrong, the correction is added to the article itself with the date, and the original wording is described rather than silently replaced. Corrections arrive through the contact form, and a correction that turns out to be right is worth more than a compliment.
Contact
The contact form is the way in. There is no personal address published here, for the same reason we do not publish anyone else's.
